About this game

The long-awaited next chapter of ArenaNet's MMORPG saga. Players become Vaelwardens guarding the frontier land of Orr, exploring an open world built around action combat and momentum-based movement.

Story & setting

The game unfolds in Orr during its golden age — a frontier of windmills, waterfalls, and wild magic where people and nature spirits live side by side under the care of the Vaelwardens.

Gameplay

Action RPG combat meets Guild Wars-style buildcraft: skills are collected and tuned, while a momentum-based movement system lets players glide, leap, sprint, and ride across a shared MMO world.
