About this game

The first all-new Virtua Fighter in two decades, reimagined by RGG Studio as a narrative-driven single-player adventure in a brand-new city, fused with the series' signature head-to-head combat.

Story & setting

Set in Vilasapara, a city the series has never visited, the story follows four protagonists — among them newcomer Cielo Salinas and the so-called Bakunawa Killer — as series veterans Akira Yuki, Pai Chan and Wolf Hawkfield cross their paths.

Gameplay

Core Virtua Fighter combat stays: two fighters, technical martial arts, knockouts. The reimagining adds a cinematic single-player adventure mode with in-camera presentation — dynamic zooms on whiffed attacks and per-limb damage that shows on the fighters in real time.
