About this game
Playground Games reboots the beloved RPG series with an open-world journey through a storybook Albion, where every choice shapes your reputation and no fairytale ending is guaranteed.
Story & setting
Fable returns to Albion, a fairytale land of Demon Doors, towering Trolls and the bustling city of Bowerstone, recast with Playground Games' trademark British humor. You arrive as the first Hero in a generation, in a world where reputation follows your every step.
Gameplay
An open-world action RPG built on choice: battle Hobbes, Balverines and highwaymen with melee-and-magic combat, take up careers like blacksmith or landlord, romance villagers, and let your decisions carry your hero toward fame or infamy.
