About this game
Konami revives Castlevania as a 2D action-exploration adventure set 23 years after Dracula's Curse, following Rose Belmont as a crimson curse consumes medieval Paris.
Story & setting
Paris, 1499: the city burns as monstrous creatures pour from the shadows, and Trevor Belmont — the hero who defeated Dracula — hunts them alongside his daughter Rose Belmont, armed with the holy whip Vampire Killer, until a crimson curse takes root.
Gameplay
Side-scrolling 2D action-exploration in the classic Castlevania mold, depicting Rose Belmont's growth with faster, more fluid gameplay — new features mixed with familiar elements inspired by the classic titles.
