About this game
Halo: Campaign Evolved is Halo Studios' from-scratch rebuild of Halo: Combat Evolved's entire campaign, adding three new prequel missions, new weapons, and up to four-player cross-platform co-op. Its PlayStation 5 launch marks the first time the series has appeared on a PlayStation platform.
Story & setting
It is 2552, and humanity is losing its war against the Covenant. After the fall of Reach, Master Chief and Cortana crash-land on Halo, a vast ringworld hiding a secret that could end all life in the galaxy, while three new prequel missions follow Sergeant Avery Johnson in the days before the ring.
Gameplay
Classic first-person sandbox shooting rebuilt for modern hardware: fight across wide battlefields on foot or in vehicles, hijack enemy craft, and bend the rules with dozens of gameplay-modifying Skulls. The full campaign supports solo play, four-player online co-op across platforms, and two-player split-screen on consoles.
