About this game
The next installment of 4A Games' Metro series is a story-rich first-person shooter set in 2039 in the ruins of Moscow, where a harrowing conflict decides the very soul of the Metro.
Story & setting
The year is 2039, long after the apocalypse. Beneath the ruins of Moscow, the survivors have united into the Novoreich — an order founded by Hunter, the strongest and most fanatical of the Spartan commanders — in the Metro universe created by Dmitry Glukhovsky.
Gameplay
A single-player first-person shooter that mixes survival combat, stealth and exploration. It is the first Metro built from the ground up for ray tracing, with a 60 FPS ray-traced performance mode on PS5, PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X at launch.
