About this game
A full remake of Atlus's beloved 2008 JRPG Persona 4: a city transfer student and his new friends in the rural town of Inaba investigate a string of bizarre murders, diving into a supernatural TV world to awaken their Personas. Rebuilt with modern visuals, UI, and turn-based combat, and launching day one on Xbox Game Pass.
Story & setting
The story unfolds in Inaba, a sleepy rural town where a city teenager spends a year living with his uncle and cousin. Beneath the quiet surface, a local TV channel flickers to life on rainy midnights, hinting at the strange deaths piling up around town.
Gameplay
Days alternate between everyday life — school, part-time jobs, friendships — and crawling through dungeons inside the TV world, where turn-based battles hinge on striking elemental weaknesses. The social bonds you build in town power the Personas you fuse, while the calendar keeps every choice racing toward the mystery's deadline.
